Working from home happened so abruptly for me that I hardly had time to think about what to wear. Under the demands of multiple Zoom calls per day I defaulted to wearing office attire: button up shirt and blazer.
But as the weeks wore on, I became less concerned with how I show up on camera and more concerned with comfort. Reality has settled in that WFH isn’t ending anytime soon and more people are muting their cameras. Because we know they’re all wearing sweats, right?

Most of us think of an LBD or Little Black Dress for going out. But I’m making the case for an LBD for staying IN.
The first order of business is to dress it down with low key accessories.
In this look I opted for raffia slides from Clergerie. While I don’t necessarily wear shoes indoors, I do take breaks from my computer. I keep my slides nearby to step out onto the patio and breath fresh air in between meetings.
