Mark Twain was quoted as saying, “The coldest winter I ever spent was a summer in San Francisco”.
This statement holds true most summers. Yesterday was no exception to the unpredictable Bay Area weather which went from 50’s to 90’s in two days. To make things even more interesting, rain is expected for the next 2 days.
Anyway, I’m not here to talk about the weather. Rather I want to point out that you can be equipped to seize the moment, including good weather. You can by curating a capsule wardrobe spanning two seasons.
One such transitional key piece for a Spring/Summer capsule is the Who What Wear maxi dress. Wear this timeless, classic, and chic piece on its own or layered for warmth.
In the summer this dress can double as a chic poolside coverup. Wear it completely unbuttoned with the sash loosely tied to the side, showing off your TRIANGL bikini.
I found this Who What Wear maxi dress when they launched their collab with Target in February. (my top 10 picks are here). While this dress is not an investment piece, I was won over by the fabric. Lyocell is a more ethicaly sourced fabric that looks expensive and is wrinkle free.
Speaking of weather, festival season is upon us. Adding a gladiator flat to this Who What Wear maxi dress lets me channel boho AND honor my minimal aesthetic.
