A tropical destination vacation or a simple day at your local beach just wouldn’t be complete without a must have summer hat.

My family and I recently spent ten days in Maui; visiting a new beach almost every day. I cannot tell you how often my oversized summer hat saved me from the scorching sun.

The “it” hat of the summer award definitely goes to Jacquemas. Coming in extra large and uber large, this umbrella size hat is as chic as it is UV protective.

I was lucky to stumble across a designer duplicate version on H&M’s site and swooped it up like there was no tomorrow. Who wouldn’t at ($35 versus the $400 original).
