Museum of Ice Cream – What to Wear if You’re a GrownUp
If you’re reading this post, chances are you’ve finally scored those coveted tickets to Museum of Ice Cream. Now that you’ve got a date set you may be asking yourself, “What should I wear?”
People from all walks of life come out in full force wearing ice cream colors to the Museum of Ice Cream. Not gonna lie, Museum of Ice Cream is the perfect place for photo ops. Here it’s totally acceptable to let friends and family see your Instagram lyfe through rose colored glasses.
But if you’re a grown up like me, pink and yellow is not staring back out you when you open your closet. And, if you’re a grown up like me, it’s not responsible to run out and buy something in a color you may never wear again.
With the pastel color palette, candyland props, and professional lighting in the Museum of Ice Cream you couldn’t take a bad photo if you tried! This is what makes this travelling exhibit the most photographed location on Instagram.
For my visit to Museum of Ice Cream San Francisco I reached for statement making pastels already in my closet. If you want to grab something Museum-of-Ice-Cream-appropriate (that you can wear again and again), click through. And for more suggestions, check out my post Pink is the New Black (here).
The photos-allowed atmosphere and social media savvy attendees make Museum of Ice Cream the most welcoming place to take a selfie without getting a side eye (well almost). Even if you’re a grown woman like me, there’s no shame in dressing for the occasion.
Scoop! There it is!
