Happy Monday! Today I’m sharing two of my favorite essential accessories for every wardrobe. The Madewell Transport Tote and the Acne Studios Canada Scarf.
Last week I received the long waitlisted Acne Studios Canada Scarf just in time for the 42 degree morning we had.
For many bloggers and fans of minimalist style, the Acne Studios Canada scarf is a staple.
However at $180 it comes with a hefty price tag. I first looked for other alternatives to buying this scarf before committing to the full price. For example I searched Ebay and the consignment site The Real Real.
I also bought the $50 version from H&M (currently an additional 50% off – $24.99 while supplies last). BTW I highly recommend the H&M version which is from their Premium quality line.
The quality is very good, while not as thick as the Acne version, and with narrower fringe. Manufacted in China, the color is a true black and thus far the fabric has not pilled, a common situation for mass produced knits. The dimensions are 27 1/2 x 78 3/4 inches and its generous size make it the perfect throw for those chilly plane flights.
As for the Italian made Acne Studios version of the Canada scarf I chose to pre-order from Nordstrom.com. I chose this option because I was able to use my 10 points day to maximize the amount of rewards On my account. As you may know these points can be used as “cash” on future Nordstrom purchases.
