Welcome to Part 2 in how to style the silk V-neck from Grana Wardrobe Essentials company. This time I’m styling the Grana V-Neck Camisole and suggesting ways to wear an essential that’s typically categorized as an undergarment.
To see how I styled the DRESS version of the Grana V-Neck go check out Part 1 (here)
If you read last week’s post then you know the folks at Grana wardrobe essentials generously let me choose 3 pieces from their popular Chinese Silk collection to review. (Thank you!!) But I’m not keeping these all to myself!

Look 2 – Low Key From the Street in the Grana V-neck Camisole
Whether you’re making a statement with a bold printed track pant or this on-trend shoe color, it’s all about balance. I kept this edgy look casual with a low key camisole. The clean lines and matte finish of Grana’s Silk V-neck cami is elegant yet doesn’t compete with the sportiness of the trouser. The V-neck detail is also picked up in the shape of the Cala Lily graphic and pointy flats.
The camisole has really come into its own as a mainstream wardrobe essential. It used to be confined to the bedroom or worn strictly as an inner layer. No more; this is not your grandmother’s cami!Today a camisole is often worn out in the open by itself, or under a sharp blazer. You can pair this cami with jeans and strappy sandals or over a blouse, tee, or turtleneck. The possibilities are limitless!
I’ll be wearing this inky-black cami with white linen high waisted trousers all summer long. I’ll complete the look with my signature Koko Sunglasses, as featured in my Top 10 Essentials for Summer post (read here)
About the Chinese Silk: Grana spins their silk into a robust 2-ply yarn before it’s tightly woven for additional strength. The camisole is double lined throughout (unlike other brands that do a half shelf lining).
The texture is more like a Satin heavy-weight fabric as opposed to Crepe-de-Chine that is common with other manufacturers of this type of top. What I love about this cami, in addition to the quality, is the price point is about $15 less than similar tops. (Plus y’all will save an additional 10% using my special discount code KAIREEXGRANA)
About the Packaging: Grana ships their products in a lovely blue box called, you guessed it the Grana Box. The message inside is in keeping with Grana’s ethos:that quality should be accessible to everyone!
Wardrobe Essentials. Finest fabrics. Honest Prices.
