Cult Gaia Ark Bag Fashion Hack
I love a good fashion hack every now and then especially when it involves a blogger favorite such as the Cult Gaia Ark handbag. And if you saw my Instagram story you already know how I stumbled across this ingenious fashion hack.
If you don’t know about Cult Gaia, their original claim to fame was boho-chic turbands. But it was the bamboo Ark Bag that catapulted the brand into “cult” status among fashion bloggers.
Not a summer rolls by without a straw or wicker bag being the must-have accessory. Best of all they come in all price points; some of my favorites are thrift store and yard sale finds. Even before the Ark Bag, wicker bags were a mainstay in my closet because they are a timeless classic. Something about the natural fibers and reference to nautical experiences, as in the Clare V Netty bag, beckons you to the shore.
Last summer I captured the Cult Gaia Ark HandBag which at the time could be had at just over $100 bucks. This season, it’s continued popularity has given birth to a wide range in colors, sizes (see my case in point below) and materials.
This spring I’m admittedly obsessed with another beach inspired bag, this time by LA based Staud Clothing. I discovered this brand on a luncheon with one of my (no, my favorite) blogger Tamu McPherson of All the Pretty Birds.
The Moreau Macrame and Leather bucket bag by Staud is on my wishlist for summer.
