April was a month full of fashion favorites as well as growth for me and the blog!

I celebrated another birthday and took on a 30 day Black and White only wardrobe challenge. And don’t forget, this was Fashion Revolution Month where we reflected on the Rana Plaza tragedy.  There always remains the need to shop sustainably and to know “Who Made My Clothes”. To that end, I did shop the Mansur Gavriel sample sale and window shopped the Need Supply Friends and Family Event.

But mostly, I shopped my closet as part of the wardrobe challenge. When I did venture out it was all about vintage at Bouquet Marketplace and thrifted at Dress Best for Less in Oakland,where I scored a 2nd hand Tibi Blazer for under $20.

I also let go of some things in the process by culling my wardrobe and offering underutilized items on eBay ( kaireew) If you like brands like Mansur Gavriel (yes, it’s true), Everlane, J Crew, Halston Heritage and more, check it out.

I also collaborated with small batch Lacson Ravello, a local favorite who manufactures in Oakland.

Ten Key Pieces Blog is also growing.

Most of the growth took place behind the scenes, as I teamed up with Chloe Digital to update the blog’s inner workings AKA back end. The blog update was definitely a team effort and I highly recommend you check out Chloe Digital if you’re a fashion or lifestyle blogger looking to up your game!
